The primary goal of the IPRT Facilities Engineering and Safety (IPRT FE&S) office is to provide engineering and safety expertise to IPRT research programs. The engineering staff provides design development, estimating, and project management for IPRT facilities projects.  Other engineering staff duties include: overseeing the general building operation and facility maintenance, space utilization, Marlok key system, security issues, and operation of the IPRT Shuttle Van. The safety staff provides safety training and advice for IPRT facilities through safety programs.
