Krishna Rajan
Dr. Krishna Rajan is a professor in the Materials Science and Engineering department at Iowa State University and holds the Stanley Chair of Interdisciplinary Engineering. He is also director of the international combinatorial sciences and materials informatics collaboratory, and director of the Institute for Combinatorial Discovery. Dr. Rajan received a B.A.Sc. in metallurgy and materials science from the University of Toronto in 1974 and an Sc.D. in materials science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 978. He held postdoctoral appointments at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1978 and at Cambridge University from 1978 to 1980.
Dr. Rajan's research interests are in materials informatics, atom probe tomography, and materials modeling and design.
